Abstract

Higher education institutions are under growing pressure to strengthen research productivity, international visibility and institutional quality while adapting to the rapid advance of artificial intelligence. This plenary talk presents an integrated, experience-based model for digital transformation in academia, drawing on institutional practices developed at Nuh Naci Yazgan University and on a background spanning artificial intelligence, signal processing and large-scale digital transformation programmes. The talk introduces the Orclever Academic Platform — a unified ecosystem that brings journal and editorial management, AI-supported academic services, digital content and process management, and research dissemination together within a single architecture — and discusses how such platforms can reinforce scholarly communication and international indexing strategies. It further examines AI-supported research and publishing workflows, quality assurance and continuous-improvement systems, and sustainable approaches to internationalisation and academic cooperation. Through practical case studies and transferable frameworks, participants — particularly academic staff and graduate students at the thesis and dissertation stage — will gain actionable insights for improving research design, academic productivity and international academic impact. The session will conclude with concrete opportunities for future Erasmus+ partnerships and collaborative research.
